Although recently opening, the vision of Beautiful Mind Arizona stems back to over 10 years ago when Bertha and Yilia were working as nurses in the hospital and threw out ideas about someday starting a business to help those in need. Both nurses furthered their education and became nurse practitioners, Bertha becoming a PMHNP and Yilia a dual certified FNP and PMHNP. With time, the need for mental health providers grew. Bertha and Yilia knew now was the time to not only fulfil their dream to own a clinic, but to start spreading awareness, help, and treatment to those suffering from mental illness.
The West Valley has little to no mental health providers and therefore, opening this clinic in Verrado is significant. Beautiful Mind Arizona will be serving children from the ages of 5 all the way to adulthood and addressing issues dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, mood, and many other psychiatric diagnosis. There will also be other services provided by other team members with their own entity to provide therapy both individual and in group setting.
Compassion, understanding, and working as a team are the moto Bertha and Yilia strive to work by.
